Ben Affleck Speaks Spanish to Promote New Movie 'Argo'

Ben Affleck was born to play a Latino on the big screen and he’s willing to prove it.

The 40-year-old actor stars as retired CIA agent Tony Mendez in the thriller Argo, which dominated the box office and earned a cool $20 million during opening weekend.

During a press junket, Ben showed off his Spanish skills and gave People en Español readers’ three reasons to watch the film.

“Mujeres muy guapas (Good looking women) will want to see this movie,” said the actor playfully in a telenovela-style voice.

He gets an A in our book and we can officially add him to our list of non-Latinos who play Latinos on the big-screen.

The Hollywood star is also working on a romantic drama co-starring with Javier Bardem titled, To the Wonder.
