Eva Longoria's Post Desperate Housewives Career Heats Up

Eva Longoria is continuously adding more projects to her resume post-Desperate Housewives. Since the hit series is currently filming its final season, Longoria has been transitioning into film. The 36-year-old Mexican-American actress has just joined the cast of The Truth, an action thriller about a former CIA agent who is hired to expose the injustice over South American village massacre that was caused by her current corporate employer. Andy Garcia and Forest Whitaker are also starring in the film.

Eva Longoria Lines Up A TON Of Work After ‘Desperate Housewives’

Longoria’s current movie, Without Men, is under scrutiny in Spain. The actress is featured in lesbian love scenes with Mexican actress Kate Del Castillo that have been cut out of the version of the film that will be screened in Spain. Due to censorship, Without Men has been removed from the Barcelona International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. Christian Slater also stars in this film similarly about a Latin American village surviving after a communist guerilla attack. Without Men premiered in the United States in June.
