Ahh... New Year’s Eve. A time when we fool ourselves with wish-washy resolutions that usually crumble a week into January. Before we begin prepping for the big day, we wanted to highlight the new romantic comedy New Year’s Eve!
Directed by Garry Marshall, New Year’s Eve is a compilation of interlocked personal stories on the day leading up to January 1, 2012. The film features an all-star ensemble cast, which includes Robert De Niro, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Michelle Pfeiffer.
Of course, we can’t forget the film’s Latino stars; Boricua actor Hector Elizondo and Emmy-nominated Colombian actress Sofia Vergara, who plays the nervous assistant to a chef (played by Katherine Heigl) with a short fuse. According to Show Biz Spy, Vergara spoke about her own New Year’s resolutions, which include more exercise, healthier eating habits, and plans to spend more time with her friends.
“Every year I say the same thing and I try but I think I try more at the beginning of the year and then I start forgetting about it,” the gorgeous Modern Family star said. Chica, we know exactly how you feel. Cutie-pie teen star Jake T. Austin also stars in New Year’s Eve.
