William Levy Set To Play A Warrior in 'The Veil'

Get ready: William Levy is taking on a sexy, new role!


The cubano is set to star in the upcoming sci-fi adventure flick, The Veil. Levy will play a deadly warrior leading a destructive campaign in a war-torn land divided by tribal factions. When he is betrayed by his own and left for dead, he is healed by a mysterious princess and taken into a hidden tribe. 


Levy will be joined by William Moseley, best known for his role as “Peter” in The Chronicles of Narnia, and Serinda Swan from Tron: Legacy


“I have dreamed of doing a role like this since I was a kid. The character....is so layered,” Levy said. “It is giving me a chance to show my full acting range. It’s an actor’s dream.”


The film, which is expected to be released next year, is one of several movies on tap for Levy in 2014. The actor will also appear in Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club, Addicted directed by Billy Woodruff, and the horror-western Rio Sangre. Additionally, Levy will begin filming Salsa, co-starring Jada Pinkett-Smith, next year.
