'Wonder Woman' Becomes Highest-Ranked Female Superhero Movie


1. Wonder Woman has officially found her place on the big screen. The film grossed $100.5 million at the North American box office this weekend – the top opening ever to come from a female director. Aside from the girl power quality, the movie is only the 16th superhero title to get to $100 million or more, plus the fact that it’s not a sequel in a series. (THR)

5. Ariana Grande led last night’s One Love Manchester, a benefit concert for the victims of the suicide bombing from just a few weeks ago.
