Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim was a life-saver for him. Ladies, you better start getting in line now! Sexy Mexican star Gael García Bernal will be starring in Jon Stewart’s directorial debut titled Rosewater.
Rosewater is based on the real-life capture of a British journalist, Maziar Bahari, in Iran.
Bernal will be playing the role of Bahari, a journalist for BBC who went to Iran for one week to cover the nation’s presidential election, but was captured and spent 118 days in a prison in northwestern Tehran.
