The visuals are flaming hot in Maluma's new music video, "Mala Mia" which dropped today via YouTube. The Colombian-born superstar knows what the people want and he gives it to them, ten-fold, in the sexy, new video shot entirely in his adopted city of Miami.
The 4-minute video, directed by Jessy Terrero, opens with a view of the W Hotel in Downtown where Maluma is waking up surrounded by a bevy of scantily clad beauties. As the phone rings and someone impatiently rings the bell of his hotel room, the international superstar wakes up and looks around the room assessing the damage.
An angry, yet coquettish producer reminds him he is supposed to be shooting his television show and not sleeping off last night's hangover.
Which leads Maluma to say, "mala mia," which translates to "my bad!" The lyrics are what have become used to from this bad boy: unapologetically rebellious with a flirtatious twist.
"This is my life and only mine to live. I don't care what anyone has to say about it," he sings in Spanish.
"Deep down you love me and that's why you invite me."
The video and the track are insanely hot, no shocker there. It's definitely not too late to declare "Mala Mia" as the song of the summer.
We already have.
