The wait for Selena Gomez's new album is almost over. The actress-slash-singer teased fans in a Tweet Wednesday, writing, "[Who's] ready for an album? All the songs have been decided coming to you soon." We're definitely ready to hear Gomez's new material, which we're pretty sure will have some break up/make up themes.
This will be Gomez's first album without her band The Scene, which she took a break from last year. Selena Gomez & The Scene released three albums between 2009 and 2011— Kiss & Tell, A Year Without Rain, and When the Sun Goes Down—with combined sales of 2.3 million.
"This year is all about films and acting and I want my band to play music wherever with whoever," Gomez said last year. "We will be back, but it will be a good while. I love them and I love you guys."
As for who inspired her on this new album, it wasn't all Bieber. Gomez told MTV News last month that BFF Taylor Swift and electronic DJ Skrillex are two big influences on her music right now. Can't wait to see if she collaborated with any of them!
