Sol Pereyra is coming back to a bang!
The single, La Impositiva, is the first release from her upcoming album, Prendente. The Argentinean singer-songwriter made her way into our hearts in 2008 after being a part of Julieta Venegas' band for 5 years. She went solo in 2009 and has been killing it since with hits like Bla Bla Bla and Comunmixta. This is Pereyra's fourth album and it was entirely crowd funded. The entire thing was recorded in Mexico City and is made up of 10 songs with reggae, ska, hip hop, rock and cumbia sound.
"La Impositiva is a song that looks ironically at the idea of walking outside and feeling as if you're on an obstacle course. If things get hard, we find a way to overcome them. This song opens the album and in some ways sets the tone for the rest of it-- determined and danceable. Rock and revolution!," she told us.
