Lupita Nyong’o’s pearl-studded Oscars dress may have been found – and we couldn't be more relieved.

The Mexi-Kenyan actress received tons of attention after she graced the red carpet at the 87th Academy Awards in the custom Calvin Klein gown, valued at $150,000 by Fortune. Unfortunately, the dress went missing last week, and Nyong'o reported it stolen from her hotel room at the London Hotel in West Hollywood, CA.

According to US Weekly, after several days of investigation, the L.A. Sheriff’s Department received a phone call from a media representative on Friday, Feb. 27. The representative said that the gown had been located in an abandoned bathroom on the second floor of the London Hotel. Detectives found a dress believed to be the stolen gown in a black garment bag underneath the bathroom's counter.

The thief reportedly called TMZ with a road map to the crime. They reportedly escaped detection by throwing the dress off the balcony of Nyong'o's hotel room. They then took two pearls from the dress to the Garment District for appraisal, but discovered that the pearls were "worthless fakes."  They then brought it back to the hotel, and dumped it in the bathroom.

TMZ also notes that the thief spotted the actress’s $125k Oscars gift bag, but snatched the gown instead.
