2012 Emmy Snubs: Which Latinos Should Have Been Nominated?

The 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are just days away!

While we will be sure to keep a look out for our Latino nominees, including Colombian actress Sofia Vergara for Modern Family and Mexican comedian Louis C.K. for Louie, there are more Latino stars we wish made the Emmy Awards nominee list!

The award show is notorious for snubbing talented Latinos, but that doesn’t mean we can’t give our fellow stars the props they deserve! For another straight year, Grey’s Anatomy actress Sara Ramirez was overlooked, but the Tony Award-winning star has faithfully made us laugh and cry as we recently witnessed her character Dr. Callie Torres embrace motherhood. We can’t wait to see how the storyline will develop after the plane crash during the upcoming season. There’s always next year, verdad? Fingers crossed.

Actor Steven Michael Quezada may not play a lead role as DEA agent Steven Gomez in the hit AMC show, Breaking Bad, but we all know Hank Schrader (played by Dean Norris) would be nothing without his right hand man. We think he should have joined his co-star Giancarlo Esposito (also known as Gus Fring on the show) on the Emmy nomination for “Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.”

Finally, we totally feel like Naya Rivera just lost her Emmy nomination in the mail. How could she have gotten overlooked for her awesome depiction of Santana on Fox’s hit show, Glee? Especially after her blazing duets with Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan! We hope this talented 25-year-old receives her much-earned nom next year.

Who do you think got snubbed from the 2012 Emmys?
