Demi Lovato said she's game to be on the next season of The X Factor. The part-Mexican singer, who recently broke her leg while living in a sober living home, hasn't received a formal invitation to return to Simon Cowell's music competition franchise but said she's down.
"I'm focusing on my music this year, so it's going to be a lot of touring, a lot of promoting of my album, but I would love to," she told Extra. "Obviously, if they asked for me to come back, I'd say yes."
Fellow X Factor newcomer Britney Spears, on the other hand, said adios to the show in January. Music executive L.A. Reid, who's given the show two seasons, has also left the talent competition.
Lovato, who thoroughly enjoyed being a judge, already knows who she'd like to see replace Spears. "I would love to see Lady Gaga," she says. "I don't know if that is possible or not."
Lady Gaga just canceled her tour in order to have hip surgery, so we doubt The X Factor is anywhere on her mind right now. In the meantime, we'll just have to wait and see who gets plucked for the third season, which premieres in September.
