'Homeland' Star Morena Baccarin to Guest Star on 'The Good Wife'

Fans pining for Homeland’s Morena Baccarin will soon get a dose of the Brazilian beauty when she guest stars on the CBS drama The Good Wife in early March! “I’m a huge fan of the show, I’ve watched every single hour of it,” Baccarin told EW. “Every actor in the cast is phenomenal and I’m so excited to be asked to join them for this episode.”

Apparently a tweet the actress sent last April praising the show helped Baccarin land the guest spot. The talented actress, who is best known for her roles on V and Firefly (and currently stars on the Golden Globe-winning drama Homeland), will play a commanding executive who gets tangled up with the likes of the eerie Colin Sweeney (Dylan Baker).

“She’ll be playing the executive-event planner at a large corporation who accuses our old friend Colin Sweeney – the deliciously creepy Dylan Baker – of sexual harassment,” said series creators Robert and Michelle King. “We’ve loved Morena going all the way back to Firefly. And she is doing just stunning work on Homeland.”
