How did you react when you found out you made it on ‘Project Runway’?
The first thing I did was call my mom when I found out I made it on the show. It was a dream that came true because this was my second time trying out. The first time I made it pretty far in the final casting, but I didn’t get called. It was a great feeling to finally get called back.
What has been the best and worst part of being on the show?
The best part is definitely the exposure. The world of fashion is so competitive that any attention you can get is positive. I do feel like my work has been exposed in such a big way. I also love getting close to the contestants and making connections. I honestly don’t have a lot of negative things to say about the show. I would say the one thing is editing. You watch the show and know how things went down and sometimes it gets cut down in a different way. Also, when viewers judge you it gets tough, but I’m strong and know who I am. It’s okay I don’t blame them.
