Unless you’re living under a rock, chances are you tuned in after the Super Bowl on Sunday for the Season 2 premiere of The Voice, and we’re not just making assumptions. The larger than life personalities of part-Ecuadorian Christina Aguilera along with Adam Levine, CeeLo Green, Blake Shelton and hopeful contestants drew in an audience of 37.6 million viewers!
If this sounds like an incredible amount, you’re right. The episode debuted as the highest rated non-sports broadcast in 6 years according to Entertainment Weekly. It scored a rating of 16.3 among adults 18-49 making it the largest crowd since Grey’s Anatomy’s post-Super Bowl episode in 2006.
