ABC Family show Bunheads will welcome a fresh face when the popular dance dramedy returns for its second season come January. The radiant Cuban Jeanine Mason will arrive in Paradise to show off her suberb dancing skills.

Mason is no stranger to fancy footwork. The 18-year-old didn’t just compete on the fifth season of FOX's So You Think You Can Dance – she won! She will play one part of an artistic pair. Actor Niko Pepaj has also signed on to the show as the brother of Mason’s character announced The Hollywood Reporter.

This won’t be the talented dancer’s first gig on a scripted television show. Mason has appeared on CSI, Big Time Rush, and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. She is also starring in two feature films, Default and The Muddy, both slated to be released next year.

Bunheads will return January 7, and fans can catch Mason in her debut episode the following week.
