- Selena Gomez is going to be enlisting a little bit of help from her singer boyfriend Justin Bieber. Perez Hilton is reporting that the Canadian pop star will be writing songs for Selena's next album.
- The 2012 Summer Olympics kicked off on Friday, and one of our very own scored the U.S. its very first gold medal win. Latino swimmer Ryan Lochte won the 400-meter individual medley by more than three seconds against Michael Phelps. NBC Latino is calling the win a "blowout." Congrats, Ryan & Team USA!
