There's something to be said about the art of synergy and self-promotion. At the Gwen Stefani L.A.M.B. spring 2008 collections, she showed that no one is more adept at both than musicians. On each person's seat was a box of Gwen's new perfume, L, a L.A.M.B. fragrance to set the mood for what turned out to be a highly energetic presentation that offered private school-girl charm with a rock 'n roll twist. It has been two years she Stefani debuted her L.A.M.B., line, with a rasta-chic edge. Now, Stefani and her stylist, Andrea Lieberman (known for J.Lo's signature looks), have delivered a more sophisticated and complete showing that featured quite a few standouts. Among them, black and white graphic minis; fitted skirts with side ruffle detail; sequin dresses in prints; argyle vests paired with shorts and knee-highs; plus plenty of platform pumps and accessories the label now boasts from their own offerings. Surely, good things come to those who wait. --Marcia Cole
