"When you’re bored with wearing solid dark picks to conceal curves, try an all-over floral patterned dress, it was one of the most popular street styles looks at NYFW this fall," said Zapata. The active print helps distract the eye from narrowing in on one particular area of your body. These trendy vestidos often come in 3/4 length and long sleeve styles, helping to hide shapely arms without looking overly conservative. Make sure the size of your patterns and color-choices flow from head to toe and give your look a fashion-forward twist by keeping your hemline short and pairing your dress with leather thigh-highs or trendy boots. Puerto Rican fashion blogger, Sandra who goes by @lapecosapreciosa on Instagram embraced her florals this season as she sported a ELOQUII x Katie Sturino Printed Fit and Flare Dress to show off this trend. Don't be shy, you have the right to bear arms and show off a little cleavage. The style expert promises, this season it’s all about flaunting skin in fun and unexpected ways. Use strategically placed cutouts (solids are best for this one) to show off the small of your stomach, shoulders, collarbones, and/or breast bones – it’s a super sexy way to conceal curves while highlighting some of the flattest areas in your body. This look screams body-confidence, and you’ll be amazed by how it instantly trims your figura. Use Ashley Grahman's twist on the trend as some inspo for your next shopping trip to the mall.

3. Long Outerwear

According to the fashionsita, curvy chicas should try tailored long coats to show off their beautiful full figure. The longer style will help shape your hips and the thicker bottom half, and when paired with an edgy mini skirt, it’s a great high-low balance that will give you a super slender look. Play with color blocking or mixed-mediums (like wool & leather): use the two colors to your advantage – let the darker fabrics mask shapely curves.

4. Cutting Edge Crop

Edgy crop tops sound incredibly intimidating when dressing a curvier frame, but when paired correctly, this trend-driven style can really hit it out of the park. According to the Mexican-American fashion expert, "the key to styling this piece is sticking with a high waistband style, and really putting the focus on the small of your cintura – your crop top should fall to the smallest part of your stomach (just above your natural waistline)." Check out Dominican actress, Dascha Polanco pair her black 3D top with silk trousers above. Keep in mind you can always match your cropped piece with a high-waisted joggers, skirts or high-rise denim to ensure there’s no gaping. This is an advanced trend that can really work for all body types!

5. Bold & Beautiful

Have you been gazing at the purple jumpsuit that's in your closet, you feel isn't for the fall? Well, get ready to rock it and be fabulously fearless Ms.Thing! According to Zapata, "Some of the hottest hues for fall are bolder than ever – hot pink, purple, yellow, and orange, dominated the runways this season, so now is the time to really experiment with color!" If you want to avoid looking like you’ve just walked out of the 80’s, style your ultra-brights with neutrals and simple, elegant accessories in complementary shades. Go for a sleek silhouette that provides all-over body coverage, while showing off smaller parts of your body like ankles, arms and shoulders – this trick helps create a longer and slender-looking frame. It’s all about balance when dressing with bright pieces.
