These Mexican-Inspired Cookies Are Almost Too Pretty to Eat

You never have to choose between cookies or conchas ever again but you will have to decide if you should even eat these beautiful pastries.

Created by artist Alicia Becerra, or AliciasDelicias as she's known online, these amazing cookies resemble iconic symbols in Mexican culture like the Flor de Pascua, concha, and even Frida Kahlo. A self-described "passionate baker" since her childhood, she says, "I've always had a passion for my culture since I was a kid," but it was in 2014 that she was able to mix her passion for baking and her heritage.

She was baking a Pan Dulce set of cookies for her own birthday when she became inspired to create more Mexican-inspired cookies. And thus, #Mexicookies were born.
