#FoodHolidaysWeLove: It’s National Cheese Fondue Day on April 11! Though fondue (a blend of cheeses and spices into a thick dipping sauce) originated in Switzerland, it has a long history in Latin America under a name you know and love: queso fundido.
Queso fundido, most commonly found in Mexico, is a gooey, indulgent dish of melted cheese usually served with tortilla wedges (or used to top hot dogs!). It’s spicy, meaty, and delicious. We can’t wait to celebrate with some of our favorite recipes!
