J Balvin and Bad Bunny are only two Latinos that have been announced as performers at Coachella, set to kick-off on Friday, April 12 in Indio, California.
Other popular acts set to perform at the yearly music festival include Rosalia, Mon Laferte, Kid Cudi, and Los Tucanes de Tijuana.
Organizers really put thought into their selections: Balvin, El Conejito Malo, and Kid Cudi showing off our talented urban hitmakers, Rosalia with flamenco, Mon Laferte repping alternative music, and Los Tucanes proudly showing representation in the regional Mexican market.
Colombian born Balvin performed at Coachella twice in 2018 as a special guest of Cardi B and Beyonce. Bad Bunny also joined in with his fellow Latino Gang members Cardi and Balvin to perform their hit song, "I Like It."
This is the first time both will sing as featured performers, and there's no telling who might show up to collaborate. The duo have have a song together titled, "Si Tu Novio Te Deja Sola," so seeing them on the same stage may not be impossible.
Balvin also featured Rosalia on his highly lauded Vibras album, and we'll be hoping they end up on the same stage together, too!
The possibilities are endless, *hint hint* Nicky Jam...
And if we're here wishing, I'll say a little prayer that Balvin and Bunny finally drop their highly anticipated album "Oasis" ahead of Coachella.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, January 4.
