When it comes to prison beauty pageants, one particular holding site in Bogota, Colombia goes all out -- and each and every single inmate is given the opportunity to participate.

Bogota's Buen Pastor prison, which houses 2,222 female inmates, has been hosting beauty pageants for about 18 years, and they allow women of any age to participate.

"Even though they are in prison, they have not lost the essence of being women," said Maria Virginia Camacho, a prison bureau employee who organized this year's pageant.

According to Fox News Latino, the pageant takes place every year on the feast of the Virgin of Mercy, and this year the contest went one step further by including two runway walks for judging -- one in traditional garments and the other in elegant gowns.
