The third annual Neutrogena "Wave for Change" philanthropic campaign has launched. Now until August 31st, Neutrogena and GlobalGiving, a fundraising charity that benefits education, have teamed up to reach a goal of $250,000 through online initiatives. Leading the campaign are celebrity brand ambassadors Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Miranda Cosgrove and Sandra Echeverria, the Mexican actress and singer.
"Earlier this year I volunteered with a non-profit organization to help build a playground for children in California," said Sandra in a press release. "I've always loved children and I'm very aware of their needs and the importance of education for their overall well being so it is very important to me to get more involved in these kind of activities. I would also love to have the opportunity at some point to bring music to children. A childs' smile is the biggest achievement that I could ever ask for."
For every Wave for Change video view on Neutrogena's website or Facebook page, $1 will be donated to GlobalGiving to support U.S. educational organizations: Knowledge is Power Program, Para Los Ninos, and Education Through Music. Also for each participating Neutrogena product, another dollar will be donated.
