Many Latinos Still Don't Know Where Obama & Romney Stand on Immigration

A new poll shows that President Obama's stance concerning immigration and law hasn't reached as many Latinos as one might think.

The poll, conduced by Latino Decisions for the Liberal Center for American Progress action Fund and America's Voice, a left-leaning immigration reform group, reports that 51 percent said they did not know where President Obama stood on the Arizona law, with 60 percent saying that they didn't know where Mitt Romney stood on the law either.

“There’s quite a bit of lack of certainty in connecting these issues to the candidates,” Matt Barreto told Univision News. Barreto works for Latino Decisions. “Neither party has a very clear or clean message on immigration.”

What do you think of these findings? Do both candidates have a long way to go in terms of outlining their immigration policies? Share in the comments
