Camila Alves doesn’t play around when it comes to giving her body the time it needs to heal. After giving birth to her daughter, Vida, Camila didn’t hit the gym right away contrary to what most celebs do. Instead she exercised a process known to Brazilians as “quarentena.”
On practicing “quarentena”: “You kind of respect all the hard workyour body has just done and give it a break. For these 40 days, you really take it easy,” she said to Us Magazine. “By that I mean no sex, light, healthy food, no trips to the gym. Then, after 40 days, you are good to go."
Alessandra Ambrosio bounced back from her first pregnancy with daughter Anja Louise in record time! The Victoria's Secret model gave birth to her son Noah last month.
On losing the baby weight in 2009: "Last year, because I had a baby and I had to lose pounds, I did a lot of cardio,” she said to People. "This year is all about weights, squats and lunges."

On staying in shape while pregnant with son Benjamin: "I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week. On losing weight: "It did take a lot of work," Lopez confessed to Entertainment Tonight. "I thought it was gonna drop off easily because I had been in shape my whole life, but it didn't."

How she did it: “I just made healthier choices,” she said in an interview with Us Weekly. “I started working out and not going too crazy, but I did what was safe and what the doctor approved.”
