1. The shock of Donald Trump’s presidency is not so surprising for the writers of The Simpsons. The popular cartoon series predicted his victory in an episode from 2000 called “Bart to the Future”. (E! News)

2. Pro-Trump folk are leaving their mark wherever they can. First, in Wellsville, NY, a softball dugout was vandalized with writing of “Make America White Again”, accompanied by a swastika. Then, at Canisius College, a black doll was seen hanging by a noose in an elevator. (Buffalo News)

3. And in even more Trump news: Barack Obama has invited the president elect to join him at the White House to discuss a “smooth transition of power”. (BBC)

4. A photo has surfaced of a white St. Louis police officer giving a “thumbs up” while standing over the body of a dead black man. The man, 28-year-old Omar Rahman, was found unresponsive in his house from a reported drug overdose. Rahman’s family is still awaiting for an explanation from the St. Louis Police Department about the disgusting photo. (Essence)

5. Brad Pitt is officially cleared of child abuse allegations, after his recent split from wife Angelina Jolie. The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services has reportedly been investigating Jolie’s claim that Pitt hit their son after a “pattern of misconduct”. (Marie Claire)
