VP Debate Airs Tonight

The vice presidential debate occurs tonight, with Vice President Joe Biden and Mitt Romney's candidate, Paul Ryan. Most would agree that Joe Biden has his work cut out for him, after President Barack Obama failed to impress in the presidential debate last week.

The debate will take place in the midst of a tightening race, reports the Associated Press and Fox News Latino. With pressure on the Obama camp, Biden must make a strong case for Obama's policies while also matching Ryan's personable charm in hopes to woo voters. Ryan must present a more moderate tone to attract undecided and independent voters.

The 90-minute debate will cover both foreign and domestic issues. Martha Raddatz, Senior Foreign Affairs Correspondent for ABC News will be monitoring the event. The debate will air at 9 PM EST.
