Epcot® provides a unique combination of fun rides and attractions with a focus on education. From being exposed to different cultures and learning about mankind’s technological advances, to designing and testing out your own car and soaring across the world there is so much here for families to enjoy.

Having been bitten by the travel bug, our family has traveled to many countries. We love the World Showcase and wandering through the pavilions of countries we’ve never been to like China, Germany or Norway. We are able to learn about their history and traditions, talk with people from those countries who are eager to share their culture with us and delight in their food. We also like visiting the pavilions of the countries we’ve been to like Canada, Mexico and Morocco and reliving favorite memories from our trips. Visiting all of the pavilions together has really sparked so many exciting conversations and discussions about how people live in other parts of the world and how similar we all are. My son really enjoyed the crafts and activities available at each pavilion at the Kidcot stations.

One of my kid’s favorite activities at Epcot® is embarking on an interactive scavenger hunt across the world’s nations with Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P's World Showcase Adventure. We have always enjoyed Phineas and Ferb and looking for clues together across the pavilions of all of the different countries was such a fun family activity. My kids were excited and motivated to discover new things in each country and even I was able to learn so much.

My 9-year-old son wants to be an engineer and getting to design his own car and test it out to improve different test criteria at Test Track® Attraction is a dream come true for him. He’ll have us going back again and again to try different designs so he can see how they perform and I love that this ride combines excitement and thrills with an interactive educational element providing giving kids and opportunity to think, resolve a problem and make each ride unique.

The most iconic structure in Epcot®, Spaceship Earth®, is not only awe inspiring but it also houses the park’s most classic ride where you can take a journey throughout the history of communications. I remember going to Epcot® for the first time with my parents when I was a kid and standing in awe before the huge white sphere — my imagination running away with visions of robots, space exploration and exciting technological discoveries as I wondered what the future would look like. Getting to share my love for science, technology and travel with my kids and seeing the excitement in their eyes makes me relive those wonderful memories and makes me feel like a kid again; curious and excited to learn more about the world!

A lot of people think that Epcot® is more for adults but they could not be more mistaken. Epcot® has so many awesome rides that kids love! On the Soarin® Attraction you get to hang glide over amazing locations around the globe and on Frozen Ever After, you’ll embark on an unforgettable adventure through Arendelle while listening to your favorite music from the Frozen movie. Our crazy family can not ride Frozen Ever After Attraction without us all breaking into song and dancing in our seats as we sing at the top of our lungs. Other favorite rides include Turtle Talk with Crush where kids get to interact with Crush from Finding Nemo and Living with the Land which showcases the future of agriculture with cool experimental horticulture techniques. At Mission: SPACE® you get to fly to Mars in a simulator thrill-ride. At night, lllumiNations: Reflections of Earth combines amazing fireworks, a laser light display and fountains set to a musical score above the World Showcase lagoon.

During spring the park comes alive with the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival.Colorful flowers are everywhere giving the park a festive and colorful ambiance. My family loves strolling through the park and finding the fantastic topiaries of favorite characters. During autumn the Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival provides countless delightful offerings from around the world.

At Epcot® you can sample food from any of the 11 countries in the World Showcase. One of our favorite restaurants is Teppan Edo where the Japanese chefs’ theatrical chopping and knife flipping as they cook right at our table captivates us all, generating laughs and exclamations of wonder from my kids every time. At the San Angel Inn Restaurante our family enjoys eating authentic Mexican cuisine in a fantastic atmosphere that makes you feel like you are dining under the stars in a 17th century Mexican hacienda. For table service, Tangierine Café in Morocco and Sunshine Seasons are great options. My daughter loves to cook, so she enjoyed trying various dishes from different countries and now we’re starting to try making some of them at home. It’s been great to share my love of cooking with her. We even bought some Mickey Mouse themed cooking utensils and a Minnie Mouse apron and now I can’t get her out of the kitchen! Epcot® gives adults the opportunity to enjoy amazing and exotic foods in restaurants that was created with kids and families and this is such a huge plus for us.

Epcot® is a celebration of imagination, technology, creativity and the wonders of human enterprise and, upon leaving, we always feel inspired and hopeful for the future. We always have an amazing time at Epcot® and upon leaving we always feel inspired and hopeful for the future.
