Superstar Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli is serenading us into the Valentine’s Day spirit with his romantic new new studio album, Pasión, which drops today. The singer, who lost his sight completely at the age of 12, reunited with Grammy Award-winning producer, David Foster, for the collection featuring a creative melody of love songs.
“I pride myself on working with great voices, but he transcends that. He's a singer for all people, from the common man to the Pope,” said Foster in a press release.
The album also includes duets with pop singers including, Jennifer Lopez, Nelly Furtado, and the late Edith Piaf. All of the tracks have a sensual Caribbean musical backdrop thanks to the talented 63-piece orchestra, which elevates the strong vocals and emotional verses.
Andrea and J.Lo remake a breezy and light rendition of the classic Cuban songwriter Osvaldo Farrés’, “Quizás Quizás Quizás.” It’s the sort of song that will transport you into a romantic abyss…just perhaps.
