The hosts of this year’s Latin Grammys have been revealed! Mexican singer/actress Lucero and Chilean American actor Cristián De La Fuente are poised to co-host the annual awards ceremony together in Las Vegas. The beautiful 42-year-old Lucero has been front and center many times for Latin Grammys before—at this point she's a veteran!

Shakira Is the 2011 Latin Grammy Person of the Year

This year’s awards ceremony, which will air live on Univision on November 10th, is sure to be star-studded. Our very own cover girl Shakira has been named the 2011 Latin Recording Academy’s Person of the Year and will be the youngest person to receive this prestigious award. The 34-year-old singer is also nominated for 3 Latin Grammys, including Album of the Year for Sale el Sol.

Calle 13 Leads Block of Nominees with 10 Latin Grammy Nominations!

Puerto Rican hip-hop duo Calle 13 leads the nominations this year with ten nods. The band already has ten Latin Grammys under its belt, so what are ten more, right? Calle 13’s nominations include Album of the Year, Best Urban Music Album for Entren Los Que Quieran, and Song Of The Year for “Latinoamérica”—which we have to admit, we are obsessed with!
