The Latino dominaton of late night television continues with Luis Fonsi visiting The Tonight Show Starring JImmy Fallon on Wednesday.
The Puerto Rican hitmaker opened up about growing up in Orlando where he was part of a doo wop group alongside Joey Fatone, why he's so greatful that Fallon went to Puerto Rico, and they played a game where he and Fallon changed the lyrics to Despacito. Be warned, Jared Leto and Cheetos are involved!
"It was a doo wop acapella group called The Big Guys," Fonsi said abou this early start in music alongside Fatone. "I can't make this stuff up. Our teacher just named us The Big Guys so we couldn't really change it.
Let me tell you, I love these guys. Joey, Eric, and Joel are still, to this day, my best friends."
He added, "We started 'The Big Guy Foundation' to raise money to buy jackets because we didn't have [money to buy our own].
Hey man, we had no money!"
Fonsi has come a long way since then, on Friday he'll be dropping his 10th studio album under the Universal label titled "Vida."
