Pampano Is Our New Favorite Brunch Destination in NYC

Considering Pampano has been around for over a decade, we're slightly upset we've only just discovered it now! Maybe that's because Chef Lucero Martinez has been killing it in the kitchen for the last four years -- transforming their menu and paying special attention to New Yorker's favorite pastime: brunch!

Classic dishes like eggs benedict get a Latin twist thanks to delicious sopes, black bean purée, and salsa verde. White, red and sparkling sangria pitchers complete the meal -- and make the white-on-white open-air space that much easier to enjoy. Trust us: you'll want to spend a Saturday or Sunday afternoon on the outside terrace nibbling on chilaquiles and crispy flatbread with caramelized onions, roasted wild mushrooms, goat cheese and truffle oil. Sangria not your thing? No problem. The restaurant also boasts several delicious brunch cocktails, including a variety of handcrafted margaritas and your selection of any of Pampano's 100+ tequilas.

When asked about her favorite item on the menu, Chef Martinez draws attention to the chicken and waffles with maple-dijon sauce and bacon, which incorporates both her Mexican and southern roots.

Oh, and did we forget the best part? Pampano offers an awesome brunch deal with bottomless margaritas, bloody marias, and sangria with unlimited small plates for $39. Kids 12 and under can eat for only $15. Visit richardsandoval.com/pampano to make a reservation! Feliz brunching!
