It’s less than a month away from the series finale of Selena Gomez’s Wizards of Waverly Place. The Emmy-winning Disney show, which helped catapult the part-Mexican teen singer/actress to superstardom, will end on January 6, 2012. When news first broke that season four would be the show’s last, Gomez spoke exclusively to Latina about it.

The part-Cuban teenage star of Disney’s hit sitcom Shake It Up! has teamed up with one of her best friends, Pia Mia Perez, on “Bubblegum Boy”—a fun, upbeat song that has us bobbing our heads in the office. Yeah, we said it, this song doesn't only have appeal for the tween set (though the topic may be a little young).

At yesterday’s airing of the 2011 Do Something! Awards, Demi Lovato gave viewers a spine-tingling performance. For the first time ever on television, the 18-year-old actress/singer performed her hit single “Skyscraper,” which earned the number one spot on iTunes earlier this summer following its release.
Dressed in a beige dress with silver accents, Lovato’s performance brought audience members to their feet.
