— What does part-Mexican singer/actress Demi Lovato have up her sleeve for Halloween today? Not much. “I think I'm going to dress up, but I think I'm just going to pass out candy,” the 19-year-old told MTV in a recent interview. As for her costume, Lovato revealed that she may dress up as a pirate or the singer Ke$sha. “Two similar options,” Lovato said jokingly, “they're one in the same.”

Earlier this week, NBC’s The Playboy Club—starring Cuban actor Eddie Cibrian—became the first official cancellation of the 2011-12 TV season. The peacock network announced that it was pulling the plug on the period drama after the show's third episode drew just over three million viewers (a very low number for a primetime drama on a major network). But if you ask us, The Playboy Club had a lot of potential.

It has not been the best week for Eddie Cibrian. The 38-year-old Cuban American actor was reportedly injured yesterday while on the set of his show The Playboy Club when he suffered a deep gash in his right heel after getting caught under a 200-lb. steel door.
