While there weren’t many Latinas walking the Grammy red carpet, there were two wearing statement dresses that made up for Jennifer Lopez and Selena Gomez’s absence. Fergie looked stunning in a bold orange Jean Paul Gaultier ‘peek-a-boo’ lace gown wearing nothing under, but a bra and high-waisted briefs. On another note, the eclectic jazz musician, Esperanza Spalding donned a unique ombre-inspired dress with a bronze belt.

— Half-Mexican actress Sara Paxton may sing to us in her newest project. The 23-year-old Shark Night 3D (out in theatres now) star has been cast in ABC Family’s first musical. As of yet, no title has been confirmed, but we can say that the film involves romance, magic, and some dance performances.
