The Red Dress Collection kicked off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City last night with a star-studded runway backed this year by the first-ever collaboration of the American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute's (NHLBI) awareness campaign, The Heart Truth.

It's been 26 years since The Bold and the Beautiful has been on the air, but 2013 will mark the first time the soap opera will feature a Mexican actor.
According to Fox News Latino, the show began airing in 1987 and has won various awards, including the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series each year between 2009 and 2011.

Tom Cruise's career appears to be back thanks to the $38.2 million debut of his new sci-fi movie, Oblivion. In TNT's new sci-fi series, Falling Skies (premiering Sunday at 9/8c), Mexican actress Seychelle Gabriel stars as Lourdes, a pre-med student who works in a makeshift hospital helping wounded people and conducting scientific experiments. Seychelle's hot new role in this drama (produced by Steven Spielberg) got us thinking about our favorite Latina sci-fi queens.
