PEOPLE officially announced this morning that Jennifer Lopez won the coveted cover spot for their annual "Most Beautiful" issue!
The mommy, TV star, actress and singer is the first to admit that it takes work to stay looking so fabulous. "The thing is, it's part of my job," says Lopez, 41. "I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!"

Zap2it.com is reporting that the superstar and American Idol judge is poised to grace the cover of People's "Most Beautiful" issue for 2011. Multiple sources confirm that Lopez has been chosen as the cover girl for the popular superlative issue, which is set to be released on Wednesday.

When Chris Medina was eliminated on American Idol back in February, Jennifer Lopez broke down crying, but Lopez made it clear that America shouldn't get used to seeing a weepy J.Lo. “It’s not going to be something you see all of the time,” said Lopez. “I’m very in control of my emotions. I’ve had to be over the years. Being in the public eye you have to learn to suck it up,” she explained.
