To answer the question at hand: yes! Not everyone was as happy about Thalía’s second pregnancy as the Mexicana starlet. A drug company is suing the singer/actress for getting pregnant. The 40-year-old, who gave birth to baby Matthew Alejandro Mottola in June, had apparently signed a contract with the Mexican drug company Genomma Lab International to promote one of their products, but then got pregnant and was unable to fulfill her obligations.

Single mothers suffer poorer health than married moms, according to a new study conducted by sociologists at Ohio State. Researchers, who surveyed 3,000 single and married mothers, found that women who had children out of wedlock were worse off by the time they reached their 40’s, even if they tied the knot along the way.
Except for Latinas, that is.
