Her pro tip: By layering the blue eye pencil and blue cream eye shadow (both in a shade called “Cyan”), the color won’t budge—even under hot runway lights. After creating his ocean-inspired spring collection, Carmen Marc Valvo came to MAC makeup artist Romero Jennings knowing that a teal eye would be the perfect complement. Romero modernized the classic 60s shade by pairing it with a light gold-green metallic (the new MAC shade, called Dalliance, will be available this spring) and a neutral, brownish-pink lip color (the shade, called Super is part of a new Kissable Lip Color line also coming out in spring).
