It's National Tequila Day!
Some holidays simply don't get the attention they deserve! For example, today's Tequila Day on July 24th! We can think of few other causes for celebration quite as exciting and mouth-watering as a frosted glass of smooth, throat-tickling tequila on a hot July day. Plus, while we love our tequila in a glass, we also love to cook with it!

Ah, Cinco de Mayo. A day of fun, food, and plenty of margaritas. This year, as you plan your fiesta, don't skimp on the snacks. Mexico has a rich and delicious cultural heritage that spans the gamut from small savory bites to indulgent sweets. So, while you're mixing up a pitcher of your favorite margarita, spend some time in the kitchen loading up on savory skirt steak tacos, fresh from the ocean ceviche tostadas, smoky chicken flautas, and plenty of warm tortillas to serve alongside with chunky, rich fresh guacamole and spicy salsas.

Mexican in origin, but completely American in consumption (the US consumes more tequila than any other country!), the margarita gets it day in the sun today, February 22. We aren’t really sure how or when we started to celebrate the margarita in the middle of February, but hey, do we really need a reason?
