Mariah Carey's fans have been wondering if all is well in the butterfly-filled world of the singing chanteuse after she inexplicably canceled a few appearances and pushed back the release date of her latest album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.
Carey was scheduled to receive a star on the Hollywood
Walk of Fame, perform on the Today Show and tape an
episode of VH1's Storytellers—all of which have been "postponed" indefinitely.

As silly as it may seem, Eminem is continuing his battle with R&B diva Mariah
Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon. It all started with Em’s song "Bagpipes From Baghdad," off of his album
Relapse. Em raps in the song, "Mariah whatever happened to us? Why did we ever
have to break up?" He then focuses on Nick Cannon, rhyming, "Nick Cannon, you better back the f--k up.
I'm not playing, I want her back, you punk." He goes on to add, "Nick
Cannon, you p---k, I wish you luck with that f-----n' whore." Nice, right?

I love my curly hair now, although I wasn’t a fan of my locks growing up. My friends all had sleek straight hair and most of my family members have wavy hair. I felt awkward. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t get a brush through my tight curls, while all the other girls could comb their hair during recess. More often than not, I ended up pulling it into a ponytail. But eventually, I found solace in music, novellas and films—not from the lyrics or the plots, but from the confident curly-haired Latinas I saw in the spotlight.

Sounds like we’re going to have to start accepting singer Mariah Carey as a genuine thespian. The star, who won positive reviews for her role as a social worker in the Sundance favorite Precious (formerly know as Push: Based on the Novel by Sapphire), is headed to London’s West End to perform in a stage play.
