Even before this summer’s pixie haircut craze, Morena Baccarin sported a cute cropped cut. But after years of super-short locks, the Brazilian star has started to grow them out these past few months!
Instead of the awkward grow-out phase some of us know all too well, Morena has transitioned from the chic cut of her V days to a playful, purposely mussed up style to her new Homeland shag—and looked gorgeous doing it.

In TNT's new sci-fi series, Falling Skies (premiering Sunday at 9/8c), Mexican actress Seychelle Gabriel stars as Lourdes, a pre-med student who works in a makeshift hospital helping wounded people and conducting scientific experiments. Seychelle's hot new role in this drama (produced by Steven Spielberg) got us thinking about our favorite Latina sci-fi queens.

We recently spoke to Fernanda Romero, the star of mun2s bilingual series, RPM Miami. Romera plays badass chica Luisa, a struggling single mom who races cars at night (a la The Fast & The Furious). The star of ABC’s V, Morena Baccarin, is in the running to play the role of Nick Fury’s (Samuel Jackson) sidekick in The Avengers. Others being considered for the female role are Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother), Jessica Lucas (Melrose Place) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World).
