Last night on MTV Tr3s' hit show, Quiero Mis Quinces, we met Jiselle from Mountain View, California. When she became pregnant at 14, Jiselle’s plans for a quinceañera were halted. After two years, and with the help of her grandparents, the Mexican-American teen was able to realize her quinces dream. The teen mom, who is now 17, spoke to Latina.com from her home about her quinces and the difficulties of planning her party and being a mother.

On tonight’s Quiero Mis Quinces episode on MTV Tr3s, we met fraternal twins Viviana and Liliana. The two sisters went all out with their renaissance-themed quinceañera based on the period telenovelas Amor Real and Alborada, which their mom used as inspiration for the dresses. Ricky Martin has a way of enlivening others through his music and the second single “Más” off his new album “MAS (Musica + Alma + Sexo)” is a prime example. In the up-tempo song, the 39-year-old Puerto Rican singer recounts the beauty of making the most of life.
The lyrics, which speak of being true to yourself and following your destiny, may hit close to home for Martin, who's been on a whirlwind of TV, radio and awards show appearances since coming out as a gay man. We can’t wait to hear más from him!

An upcoming Calle 13 concert scheduled to be held in Puerto Rico's famed Roberto Clemente coliseum has been canceled, apparently as a result of lead singer René Pérez's personal insult of the Republican Governor of Puerto Rico Luis Fortuño while hosting Los Premios MTV last week. Pérez took full advantage of his moment in the spotlight to highlight political issues and causes close to his heart and managed to offend quite a few people along the way.

Latinos and fashion go together like mojitos and the beach! J. Lo and Marc Anthony! Er...cholos and lowriders! You get the idea. Our contribution to the field goes way beyond zoot suits and moños (and the aforementioned cliches), and MTV Tr3s is about to show everyone exactly how we do.
