What a whirlwind! As designers sent collections down the runway, we couldn't help but zoom in on the details. Nails have become a larger part in telling the story of a collection each season. So what's hot for spring? Light and texture in bespoke colors with graphic edges, ombre and painterly swirls. As for length, its either short in a soft rounded shape or long almond shaped talons. PETA’s newest spokesmodel for the anti-cruelty to animals organization is none other than the sultry Spanish star Penelope Cruz. Considering this year’s boldly colored balloon-like skirts, flowing fringe dresses, and happy prints, there’d be plenty of fashion for Oscar de la Renta to talk about after his spring show. But, according to WWD, he was focused on the hair. “Every single girl who came to see me had hair that was plastered to her head,” he explained. “It was so lacquered it was like cement. I said to them, ‘If you have a boyfriend, he wouldn’t want to touch your head with hair like that.’”
