When Rosie Perez goes back to her home in Puerto Rico, she tells Access Hollywood it’s nothing like it is over here in the states! Sony put on an impressive star-studded gala for the premiere of Kenny Ortega's This Is It concert film showing Michael Jackson's last days. In another example of how over-exploited the pop star's death has become, the This Is It premiere may be the first ever to sell merchandise commemorating the event. T-shirts, the film's CD and key chains were on sale for those lucky enough to be in attendance at the highly anticipated debut.

If boricua Rosie Perez’s heavy Brooklyn accent doesn’t scare away pedophiles (and it should!), her fearless character on the new season of Law & Order: SVU should do the trick. TVGuide.com is reporting that the Oscar-nominated actress (Fearless, Do the Right Thing) and actor Garret Dillahunt “will square off on an explosive episode of Law & Order this fall about pedophiles’ rights." Dillahunt will play the head of a pedophilia organization called “Hardwired” that sees pedophilia as genetically predetermined.
