With the Fall TV season starting next week (September 13th), we decided there was no better time to evaluate the diversity efforts of various TV networks (both broadcast & cable). Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be grading the networks (including FOX, NBC, CBS, HBO, and Showtime, among others), on how well (or not well) they feature Latino stars on primetime television. First up? ABC.

Grey’s Anatomy star Sara Ramirez turns 36 tomorrow, and the Mexican actress told Latina.com exclusively how it feels to be celebrating her cumples años. “I feel grateful to be alive!” said Ramirez, who is always appreciative of her blessings. “Another year gone by is reason to celebrate.”

In movies, it's common practice for actresses to don a fake baby bump for a role. It's fun to imagine how some of our stars would look if they were pregnant and with Cameron Diaz rocking a the look for the movie, What to Expect When You're Expecting, we started thinking of other Latina stars who have played pregnant—but weren't.

Seriously—Eva Longoria glows at every red carpet event she attends, Sofia Vergara was recently ranked one of the hottest women of the year, and Jennifer Lopez manages to look more and more stunning with each passing American Idol episode.

When nominations for the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were announced this morning, we were elated to hear Sofia Vergara’s name among the nominees. The Colombian actress—a scene-stealer on ABC’s Modern Family—received her second consecutive Outstanding Supporting Actress nomination for her work on the hit comedy.
