When I was young, I had really long, wavy hair. My hair was my prized possession. It cascaded down past my waist and I was the envy of all the girls in my kindergarten class. Some of my earliest memories involve people fawning over my silky waves, and almost every conversation included someone saying, "Ooooh, you got that good hair."

María de la Soledad Teresa O'Brien never felt limited by her multi-cultural background. With an Afro-Cuban mom and an Irish dad, O'Brien didn't struggle with her identity. Instead, she put it to good use. As one of the faces of CNN, O'Brien has already shared with us her perspective on being Black in America, and now she's tackling what it means to be Latino in this country.

Maxwell made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres show yesterday and we found out that she is also a huge fan of the sexy R&B crooner. Ellen was giddy like a school girl and we can't really blame her. She gushes, "I love your voice, I love your essence, I love everything about you." Can you get any hotter than the half-Boricua, half-Haitian Maxwell? We think not!

In anticipation of the debut of his new late night TV show on TBS Lopez Tonight, George Lopez released a hilarious video spoofing the hysterical "protesters" who popped up at the Town Hall meetings about health care held around the country in August. It's appropriate that the comedian chose to go with political comedy for the promo spot, especially given that his first guest is President Barack Obama.
Check out the video below and tell us: Do you plan on watching Lopez Tonight?

It seems like Lourdes Ciccone—or Lola to friends and family—is blossoming right before our eyes. For the first time, Madonna let her children join her on stage at the last stop of the Sticky and Sweet tour in Tel Aviv, Israel, and both little Rocco and tweenager Lourdes took full advantage of their chance to shine.

Things get steamy between Madonna and her boy toy Jesus Luz in the singer’s new video for "Celebration," the title track off her upcoming greatest hits album. Madonna, who recently turned 51, manages to bend, twist, shake and gyrate to a dizzying effect before rolling up on Luz and having her way with him. Also, look for Madge’s daughter Lourdes, 12, at the 3:16 mark as she shows off her flexible moves on the dance floor. Hey, it runs in the family. Check out the video and let us know what you think.

We dare you to disagree after taking a look at the clip below. Be sure to tell us what you think!

We recently had the pleasure of speaking to Walter Perez, one of the young stars of the highly anticipated adaptation of Fame, the 1980 Oscar-winning movie about artists at an NYC performing arts high school. Perez, 26, is a muscular boxer from the Los Angeles neighborhood Southgate who comes off as impossibly humble. He flashed his infectious smile and signature dimples as he talked about his first big studio movie, why he hopes to work with Jay Hernandez later this year and what he looks for in a woman.
