Shakira recently launched a new perfume that’s a bit softer and more feminine than the singer’s past scents. The S Eau Florale perfume by the 34-year-old Colombian singer is a combination of jasmine, wild fruits, musk, and vanilla. Shaki already has two scents under her beauty belt—S by Shakira and Amuleto.

Colombiana hit theaters over the weekend, but not everyone was necessarily looking forward to it. The film, which stars our September cover girl Zoe Saldana, is about a young Colombian woman who becomes an assassin after witnessing the murder of her parents.

— Colombia has its first 3D animated film out next month, Tr3s reports. Directed by Jairo Carrillo, Pequeñas Voces (Little Voices) it is a compilation of four children (ages 8-13) telling their own life stories. According to the website, Pequeñas Voces is about how Colombia’s internal guerrilla way has affected its youth. Adult voices are completely ignored in the film.

The women of the rural town of Barbacoas in southwest Colombia have been on a sex strike since June 22, forgoing all sexual activity with their men until the central government fulfills their promise of paving the only road leading in and out of their town. As it is right now, the dangerous 35-mile mountain road has made the town virtually unreachable, resulting in countless deaths.
