Welcome to LATINA’s weekly roundup of the best new music. This week’s list features a double dose of Anitta. The Brazilian superstar teamed up with Argentine singer TINI for “La Loto” and her boyfriend Murda Beatz for the star-studded “No Mas,” and Venezuelan singer Danny Ocean released one of the most beautiful love songs of the year.

Also on the list are Feid’s highly-anticipated “Normal,” Catalyna’s girl power anthem with Young Miko and Cory, and Carlos Rivera’s ode to Tlaxcala. And finally, Piso 21 joined forces with Manuel Turizo and Aitana’s dreamy “Formentera” with Nicki Nicole.

TINI, Becky G & Anitta, “La Loto”

TINI is turning up the heat on her music career. The rising Argentine pop star teamed up with Mexican-American pop princess Becky G and Brazilian superstar Anitta for her new single “La Loto.” Backed by a bouncy reggaeton beat, the three artists trade verses about how their lovers have hit the jackpot with them. “With me you have won the lotto,” Anitta boasts in Spanish. This trio of fierce Latinas makes this sexy bedroom banger irresistible. In Argentina, TINI has scored several hits this year, including the cumbia track “La Triple T” and “Carne y Hueso.” She also teamed up with Christina Aguilera this year for the collaboration “Suéltame.”

Murda Beatz, Anitta, J Balvin, Quavo & Pharrell, “No Mas”

Speaking of Anitta, the Brazilian superstar also teamed up with her boyfriend Murda Beatz for an all-star collaboration. The power couple recruited J Balvin, Migos’ Quavo, and Pharrell for “No Mas.” Murda Beatz truly has a beast of a banger on his hands. The tropical track blends elements of trap, hip-hop, reggaeton, and Latin sounds. The multicultural vibes are strong in this one as Anitta comes through with a fierce verse in English and Spanish. J Balvin also delivers a fiery guest verse while shouting out his son Rio. “It’s a record I’m excited about, bringing four different worlds together; America, Colombia, Brazil, and Canada,” Murda Beatz said in a statement. “And, of course, having the chance to work alongside a legendary producer like Pharrell is incredible. It’s just the perfect record for the summer,” he said

Aitana & Nicki Nicole, “Formentera”

Latin pop music is on the rebound. Spanish singer Aitana proudly embraces the feel-good genre with her recent hit “Formentera,” alongside Argentine rapper and singer Nicki Nicole. Nicole’s performance of the song at Ceremonia Festival in Mexico City this past spring was one of LATINA’s favorite moments. Since then, Aitana’s anthem has enjoyed continued success with over 33 million views on YouTube. Backed by disco-pop beats, Aitana sings about a romantic romp that she will never forget. “That memory of having you without clothes won’t let me sleep,” she sings in Spanish. Aitana’s beautiful mix of tenderness and sensuality makes this love song feel out of this world.

Danny Ocean, “Volare”

Danny Ocean has come through with one of his most tender tracks yet. The Venezuelan singer-songwriter released his new single “Volare” and is giving “date under the Eiffel Tower” vibes. Ocean’s heartfelt love song includes the sounds of an accordion and a ukulele, blended to perfection. Atop the gorgeous instrumental, he even incorporates a few words of Italian into the Spanish track. The “Me Rehúso” hit-maker masterfully captures the romance of Europe and gives it his edgy Latin touch. “The melody came from the chords of a ukulele and the lyrics were inspired by a conversation we had about long-distance relationships separated by oceans, specifically the Atlantic,” Ocean told LATINA, adding “I was inspired by a trip I did to Italy three years ago and it was incredible.”

Feid, “Normal”

Feid is in the best year of his career right now. The Medellín native has recently collaborated with fellow Colombian stars like Karol G and Maluma while scoring his own hits. After six months of teasing the song “Normal,” Feid finally released it to his fans—and it was well worth the wait. Backed by a hypnotic reggaeton beat, he sings about a heartbreak that lingers on his mind. “I gave you 100, and you gave me 50 / I was sleeping with you, and you were sleeping with someone else,” he sings in Spanish. His distinct and emotive vocals make “Normal” feel supernatural. Feid finds solace on the dance floor and comes through with another perreo sentimental banger.

Piso 21 & Manuel Turizo, “Los Cachos”

Colombian acts unite! Pop group Piso 21 teamed up with Manuel Turizo for their new single “Los Cachos.” Backed by reggaeton beats with a pop twist, both acts sing about getting caught up in a hot-and-heavy romance. You can always count on Piso 21 for a sensual and feel-good romantic track, and the guys come through with just that. Turizo perfectly rounds out the alluring love song with his sultry voice. Piso 21 adds another great single to their romance collection that includes previous hits like “Déjala Que Vuelva,” which also featured Turizo, and “Me Llamas.” Turizo recently dropped his song “La Bachata” and is gearing up to release his next album, “2000.”

Catalyna, Young Miko & Cory, “Castigada”

In a girl power moment, Puerto Rican queens Young Miko and Cory joined forces for Catalyna’s new single “Castigada.” Backed by a hard-hitting reggaeton beat, the artists sing about wanting to have fun while sneaking away. Each woman gets a chance to shine on the alluring club anthem, especially Young Miko with her trippy guest verse. “[It’s about] a group of girls who run away to see that special person,” Catalyna told LATINA. “It is a concept that everyone can relate to. Almost all of us have taken on that mission at least once in our lives.” Catalyna is signed to Y Entertainment, the record label created by Puerto Rican reggaeton icon Yandel.

Carlos Rivera and Carlos Vives, “Te Soñé”

Mexico and Colombia are joining forces for Carlos Rivera’s new single “Te Soñé.” The Mexican heartthrob teamed up with Colombian icon Carlos Vives. The song blends musical inspiration from Rivera’s home state of Tlaxcala with vallenato music native to Vives’ country. “‘Te Soñé’ is a love song to my homeland,” Rivera told LATINA. “It is the best way to tell people who I am [and] what my roots are.” He doubles down on the representation with the music video for the magical collaboration. Rivera filmed the video in his city of Huamantla with Vives and the help of 500 local volunteers, showcasing the colorfulness and culture of Huamantla with his beautiful homage.
